July 2015 Favorites
I cannot believe that the month of July is already gone. So much has happened in this last month. I have been really busy with work and I turned 23! July was an exciting month and here are my favorites for the month of July 2015:

I am wearing BECCA champagne pop on the tops of the cheekbones and the brow bone, CoverGirl lash blast mascara, and NYX butter gloss in vanilla cream pie on lips.

Nails
- Orly Top 2 Bottom Basecoat+Topcoat: This is the best basecoat/topcoat that I have ever used in my entire life. You can get this at the drugstore or Ulta and it is on the pricier side but it is worth every penny. I have acrylic nails because I am a barista and I feel like I need to have nice groomed nails to look presentable for the customers. One day I got a fill and the fill was horrible to say the least. I went to Target to pick up some nail polish and I discovered this basecoat/topcoat. I redid my nails with this stuff and it is like night and day when I do not use this on my nails. I put this on before and after polish and my polish did not chip or budge until I got my next fill. Also a little side note as a barista because I use my hands so much, I do not use caution just because I have my nails done. This polish seriously changed the game for me.
Food
- Fish and Shrimp Tacos: I am very thankful for my parents and I am also thankful for how well they cook. This has been hands down my favorite meal every summer probably further back than I can remember. My parents use a lot of fresh ingredients like the fish and shrimp that come from my uncle in Alaska. They season and grill the seafood. To accompany, it my mother always makes some form of Spanish rice. Lately, she has been making it with jalapenos in it and it is to die for. She will sometimes make a tangy slaw to go on top of the tacos too. Once everything is prepared we all sit down for this one amazing meal. There never are leftovers for this meal; my brother and I are always arguing over who gets the last shrimp. Seafood tacos in my household is more than one tasty meal, it is a whole experience we have together as a family.
